I have a 90g upstairs w/a fuge in the basement (about a 9' rise), water is being pumped up via a Mag 18. In the fuge I can see tons of pods, and mysis shrimp. The fuge is connected at the top to a center tank, slighly lower, that contains the return pump. I can see the pods occasionally in the return tank.

My question is this - will pods survive the trip through the pump up to the display tank? I definately see some things swimming around in the display tank occasionally, mainly pods. Don't knwo if I've seen any mysis shrimp..

Yes they will make it, some will not :(
You can transfer them if you want to try and suck them out with a turkey baster.

Yep was thinking about doing that, was just wondering if any would make it back up. Seems like it would be a turbulent ride!

They will be taking the ride of their life.......... Swapping Lr from the tank to the fuge is another way to transfer pods....
