Any one know any thing about keeping puffer fish with African cichlids? Would the coexist? And are puffers brackish only

Puffers do best in species only tanks. Dwarf puffers stay about 1" and fahaka puffer get over an foot and live in strictly freshwater. Other puffers like a green spotted puffer can live in freshwater but tradition to brackish and then to full marine as they get older.

Fahaka puffers can live with african cichlids in a 90 gallon aquarium.

+1 the only thing I would put with a puffer is another of the same species, space permitting.
