Q tip sponge

I think my tank is being taken over by q-tip sponges. I have a few large ones, about an inch long. Now I notice on the back of the tank walls, tiny ones all over the place behind the rocks. How do I rid my tank of these?
 
Why do you want to get rid of them? Excellent filter feeders. I have many of them also
 
they are everywhere. If that is what they are. I will try to get a picture. I just did a pwc and took the ones off the back wall.
 
I know certain butterfly fish will supposedly eat sponges but if you have corals in the tank then you`ll need to scrap that idea.
