Hey guys

Just wanted someone to confirm this for me...

I bought what i was assuming a ramshorn snail, after doing some reading on them supposidly they are abit of a pest? And will lay eggs and multiply very very easily but ive not come across any eggs or snails lol

So basicly i just want to know of this is a Ramshorn

The eggs are clutches that look like a water spot on glass. The offspring are tiny

Some people consider ramshorns pests, but really they can be very beneficial. That's a neat color.
 
Hi that is a Colombian ramshorn and a member of the Apple snail family. It isn't your common ramshorn needs 2 to breed and can grow large. I really like them I have one at the moment she's 2inches, they're great snails love hydra and planaria. I always keep one.
Enjoy it! And these guy's need additional feeding and calcium.

Thanks for the info so it explains why i havnt seen the eggs around the tank! Think i might have to get Dave a companion
