It's a 55 gallon new tank 2 months and it keeps coming back! I scrub the rock, change water and it keeps resurfacing! Everything tests great and fish look fine. How do I get rid of it?
I turned on the light today and it seems to lessening. I will post another picture in a couple hours. This was taken before I scrubbed the rock and did a water change.
Def cyanobacteria. Increase flow, decrease how much you feed (I only feed my overstocked tank one cube twice a week), and increase water changes to lower the nitrate/phosphates that are building up in your system causing said issue.
