Hello everyone. I am looking to add better lighting to my 125 gallon semi-reef tank. I have 4X110W VHO's running now, but my soft corals look like they are suffering. I have a retrofit kit now with my VHO's but want to ditch the canopy and just get a light strip to put direct above the water. I am looking to maybe get something like this on EBAY:
2 X 150 HQI Metal Halide
2X 54 Watt T5 HO
Moonlights
+ 3 Large bright clusters of Lunar lights (7 – 1 watt leds in each cluster)

2-15k Metal Halide bulb included!

2- 54 watt Super Actinic T5 HO bulbs included

I live in Florida so water temp. is an issue. Would I need to get a chiller if I upgrade to these lights? It has built in fans, will this help?

Fans do help and placing them higher off the surface of the water will help as well. I live in canada so don't have the heat issues, even in the summer all my tanks are in the basement so no issues from weather. My nano does have the metal halides in an attached hood so i need to keep the hood cracked a few cm to keep my tank temp from changing too drastically in the day.
