I have an RO/DI unit from bulk reef supply that is rated at 75 gallons per day which is just over 3 gallons per hour. After some calculations I found its outputting about 5 gallons per hour. Is that bad? I have it hooked to my kitchen sink so should I just turn it down a bit do there is less pressure?

Or is this not a problem? Thanks.

It is likely that over time the output will drop as the membrane becomes plugged. Reducing the flow will not reduce the pressure. It will also do no harm. Often you will see setups where pressure is increased by adding a pump, to speed things up or force more water through the membrane..

BillD is absolutly right, it is no problem. I have one the it rated the same, some days with people using large amounts of water in the neighborhood it slows waaaaay down to what i guess is almost 1 gal per hour.
