Rocks and Caves

Hello AA

I am looking for a resource for some stones and caves for community tank which will have khuli loaches. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance

If your area has a commercial rock yard or landscaping company check those out. Much cheaper and a much wider selection of stones.than your LFS. Might also try Home Depot or Lowes lawn and garden, they usually carry small stones and gravel.

Be sure to avoid stones laced with metals. Most other rocks are fine, including limestone. I have hardscaped several of my tanks with rhyolite, petrified wood, quartz based Geode and Texas Holey rock "limestone". As long as you conduct weekly WC's, limestone won't affect your water parameters too much.
