Hi,
I'm new to this forum and pretty new to saltwater tank ownership in general. I have a 12 gallon tank, cycled and stabilized. I use UV sterilized sea water from the Seattle Aquarium which has made a massive difference in the buffering capacity and mineral content of the water. yay! :) I have live rock, a turbo snail, and one false percula (Got him 2 months ago, after letting the tank and live rock cycle for about 6 weeks). Also floss/activated carbon bed with bio-wheel filter and protein skimmer. Anyway, my question is regarding tank bred fish, specifically dottybacks, which are very hard to find in an LFS. Is ordering online a crazy thing to do? The site I'm checking out has the 14 day guarantee and more tank bred fish than other sites I can find. It is Aquarium Fish: Tropical Freshwater Fish and Saltwater Fish for Home Aquariums. Sorry for the long post, and I'd love to hear your advice on this and anything else that might occur to you regarding my setup. Thanks!

Ordering online from reputable companies is not crazy and Live Aquaria / Drs Foster & Smith may be the most reputable.

Welcome to AA!
