Wow, that sucks dude. Sorry about the loss.

That's my biggest fear, a heater failure (specifically in the "on" position). I'm going to pick up a Ranco controller for my heater so I'm not relying on the cheap bi-metallic switch in the heater.
 
it wasn't a faulty heater it was the thermostat that controlled my cooling fan
that failed
last time I ever buy something at radio shack
 
I had a heater go wild once. Got water to about ninety and killed all my cichlids. I feel for you man.

I plan on going with a light stock in this tank

The stock isn't set in stone yet

Red Spot Hawkfish
Saddle Valentini Puffer
Red Stripe Hogfish

I just want odd looking fish in this tank
 
been awhile since i updated
ive been ill with my cancer and have a lot on my plate
i also lost the use of my left arm that dont help much
now with the help of my daughter we added fish to the predator tank
and finished up adding more live rock

1 hamlet
1 harlequin bass
1 javanese damsel
1 jewel damsel
i have plans on a few more bass and a snow flake eel

the damsels are just to fast to get good picts

the 90g has gotten a few facelifts as well
the nem moves around a lot wish he would settle already

i got to find where my daughter added my picts cause i cant find them
 
i always try to look at it as a blank vision and just try to use imagination
its harder trying to explain your vision as others inter pit it different but it always comes together
