I am selling my 50g tank and all of its contents and equipment for a very special reason. While it is hard for me to move away from the hobby I have decided that for several reasons it is time for me to do so. I am saving money to buy an engagement ring for my current girlfriend of 4.5 years. We have been dating since college and she has become my whole world. I work as a teacher and make enough money to survive but as I am sure some of you are aware, we teachers by no means rake in a lot of extra cash. As such I am selling my tank and everything that goes with it so that I can add to my ring fund 
. While I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the hobby and won't forget all the help I received or things I have learned I believe it is time for me to move on to another stage in my life. I currently live in an apartment in Middletown CT and can not see myself moving this tank and setting all of this up again. I spent well over 1,500$ getting this thing up and running and have spent a little more since and the thought of spending more and setting up the tank when we move into a house is daunting. So, here goes, I offer my tank, my equipment, my stock, and everything else I have acquired for sale. I paid over 1,500$ getting myself to the point I'm at now but the thought of marrying my lady blows that all away (lets also pray she doesn't see this post! ). The tank went through its cycle and everything has run flawlessly for over 6 months now (the tank was purchased in december). I have only had a handful snails die and a peppermint shrimp because of my acclimation in the first 2 weeks after the cycle (I learned my lesson!). The levels are fine and have been for months, I have had no problems whatsoever for as long as I can remember (hope I'm not jinxing myself there). The tank package will be sold just as that, a packaged deal, I do not want to sell it in parts or pieces, I would like to have it done with all at once. That being said, its pickup only, its impossible to ship all of this. Again, as I said I live in Middletown CT so make sure you are willing to come here. I will gladly help you transport it and set it up at your place if that is your desire. Below is a list of all my equipment and stock. Coralife Super Skimmer 65g HOB bought for 100$
(2x) Jager 150w submersible heater and (1x) 50x watt submersible bought for (the 50w is used for heating my water change water) 150w were 24$ each, 50w was 20$
Marineland Emperor Bio-Wheel 400 Power Filter bought for 50$
(2x) Marineland Power Head 660 bought for 22$ each
Hydor Koralia 2 power head 600GPH bought for 34$
6" Nova Extreme Pro 6x39watt 3 T5HO 10k bulbs and 3-460nm actinic bulbs w/individually contoured reflectors and 2 fans bought for 320$
I also have some miscallaneous hardware that I will be packaging in as well. I have a marinelab test kit, about 30gallons worth of Red Sea Coral Pro salt mix, a siphon tube used to change water, a small tube used to acclimate, a small glass tank used in acclimation and some other things.
