Difference between Arowana, Jardini, Saratoga, Leichardti ??

What is the Difference between Arowana, Jardini, Saratoga, Leichardti ??

There are so many names. Are they all the same thing?

It's becoming confusing reading the forums.

There are 8 species in the family Osteoglossidae (the boney tongues). Arapaima gigas is the arapaima from South America, one of the largest freshwater fishes. Heterotis niloticus is an African filter-feeder. Then there are two other South American species: the silver arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum) and the black arowana (Osteoglossum ferreirai). There are three species in the genus Schleropages, S. jardini from nothern Australia and parts of New Guinea, S. leichardti from Queensland, Australia, and S. formosus from Southeast Asia. Finally, there is the freshwater butterflyfish (Pantodon buchholzi) from west Africa.
