Starting up a 30 gal would like some advice

We are currently stress testing the 30 gal I got free with my 55 gal ,its not leaking so far. it's on uneven ground though will hat affect the test? Also I was hoping to do a discus or angelfish tank and want to know what they like ( plants decor water levels ect. ect.) all I have are the chemicals and the tank

Wow I thought I would have a ton o replies by now, do people. Not know a lot about it? ( a stress test is to check to see if the tanks seals can hold for a few days with water in it)

Make sure to level the tank or it may create a leak.
Both Angelfish and Discus need a tall tank, like 24" tall, I believe. I also believe that Discus need at least a fifty gallon tank.

So if not discus or angels what other kind of med sized fish would do well?
