Hi

I am just wondering with my stocking as it is. Would it be OK to add more to my danio school and how many could I add?

Current set up

119gallon subtropical tank

Coldwater
6fancy goldfish

Temperate
2variatus platys
4wcm
5 danios.

My long-term plan is just to have the 6 goldfish and a danio school. Won't replace wcms or platys once lived out lifespan.

Current filters
Eheim classic 350 ex. canister
Eheim classic 250 ex. canister
Interpret PF2 internal.

I do 50-60% weekly water changes. I have always done large WChanges.

Cheers

Emma

I think you would be fine filling your school out as there is sufficient room. You could up your school easily to 10-12 (or more) but I will stress that you quarantine the new group to be added for minimum of 4-6wks. The possibility of adding a disease to a large tank of thriving fish is a very real one and an easily avoidable predicament. :)
