Sunsun filter

Just recently bought what it said was a sunsun hw-303b off eBay. After buying it I found a video warning about fakes. I contacted the seller and he said that the sunsun canisters are sold under different names in the U.S.. He said that sunsun is the Chinese name and that mine is the 'super' brand sunsun. My question is, is this true and I got what I thought it was or did I just get ripped off?

All I know about sunsuns is that they are rare.
If it looks used then it's probably real, but if it's new looking it may not be. I don't think they make them anymore.
