t8 18,000 bulb

Hay everyone I have just bot a t8 25 w 18,000k bulb for my fw tank I have bin reading on hear that this bulb is better for marine tanks I went to the fish shop to take it back but thay had a 2 day polisey and this is the 3 day so thay wont take it back.i only want low light plants.does any one think if I buy another bulb at about 50,000k 25 w with the 18,000 bulb also wil it help grow plants any suggestions.

5,000-7,000K is the ideal range for plants, with 6500 being the most common.

Oh right its ok my plants are growing at some rate n thats with that bulb I bout another one as my lfs only sels 18,000 k
