My cichlid tank has been holding steady at 82 for the last couple days. I know that's slightly high but I'm afraid to change it being that they're doing fine. Any suggestions?

Heat accelerates many fishes life even if they don't show discomfort.
If it is above the recommended temp for fish you have I would try to lower it.
I keep my rams at 82-86 and most fish do not tolerate this well long term.

The parameters say 72-82

"seasonal " swings should not be a problem IMO then.
You can add an air stone or even just a fan across the top of tank to "naturally " cool the tank some ..
