Transfer from 30g to 55g

I just got a new 55g from the petco sale and was wondering do I need to go through the cycle? I am moving my two ac110s over from the 30g and some of the water. I have a blood parrot, Pleco and 2 corys i will be moving over. The new 55 is going in the same place as the 30 so I can't really have both up and running at the same time.

No the filters host almost all the bacteria in the tank so if your using the same filters you don't have to cycle. But keep an eye on your Params. Also decorations have bacteria on them too.

Just slap them filters on there and call it a day! At most you will have a mini cycle, which isn't really a huge deal. Just keep check on params and you're golden!
