Triop question please reply!!!

I set up my triop tank in a one and a half gallon and with a 10 watt heater. I poured the eggs in and it's in this dirt stuff. I'm just waiting for it to sink. The substrate is sand that came with the kit and some gravel. I don't have any air or filtration which seems fine. I put distilled water and a little water conditioner just in case. I want to raise them and put them in my community tank. Does everything sound good?

I have read not to put them with other fish. Besides, they don't live long at all. Mine didn't.

Well, when I googled and did research on Triops sites, thats what I read.
