Curious to see how the Chihiros works for you. I'd never seen heard of them until a few weeks ago when Rastaman posted his and the link to them. Seem like cool gadgets

Claims to:

I don't completely understand the unit .....
But if it makes plant grow your tank may explode TT!
What ever it does it sure is cooking!

Unit just plugs in to electricity? ..Nothing else?

Power is fed to the electrode within the aquarium initiating a reaction with the water..serves a similar purpose as a uv sterilizer...
Trying to wrap my head around it as well CB...

FWIW, you don't need help growing plants.

How can we ever catch up?

Between TT,Brook,Fresh,Pit and Zero I really know I am a fish keeper!
Fortunatley I think I do ok with the fish,but these guys with plants!
I stand no chance!
And then there is Poppa!
Fish and plants?
I stick close to all of you as I don't want to keep(I do already) I desire to create!
The power of creation is unlimited it would seem with some of you!(y)

Thx Pitt! Overall I'm pleased with how it was constructed,clarity within the tank has improved...
Time will tell...fed dem rams & sitch bloodworms which quickly turned into a feeding frenzy.

So what controls the DR?(besides the head nurse lol)!:eek:

At one point it is on another off?:confused:

After all the battles with micro bubbles from co2 injection you have to deal with this ?
I am not being rude I hope as I mentioned all you guys have way better tanks then me but...
We going to get you sumped if the Dr is worth it ?
Then the effect can be realized and the impact unnoticed.
In a sump you could have the positive from the DR without the micro bubbles IMO(speaking from a marine reef /reactor/sump stand point).
What made it turn off TT?

The Doctor kicks on what seems to be every 45mins and runs for 15secs,comes programmed with specific settings for 3 diff tank sizes..for the 40b its on the first setting(for between 40-60 g's I believe)also,takes a few mins for the cloudy mist to clear...kinda cool to see first hand as it does its thang..
Tour rams are doing great by the way CB!
