Wanting to start a reef club need advice

I am in the Wayensboro Staunton Virginia area. The closest Reef club or Aquarium club is in Richmond. I was talking to someone at a local pet store and was thinking of starting a reef club. Does anybody have any advice or can someone send me some minutes from there meetings by private message? Need all the advice anybody can offer. Thank you! Maybe oneday if I can get this going we can have one big swap meet in a central area in Virginia with several reef clubs? We will see!

Try just browsing the websites and forums of other clubs to get ideas. WAMAS link in my sig is our local club. Most clubs post their minutes, schedules, events, etc on their sites, that should give you some good ideas.
