Congratulations on the eggs! Did you observe the male fertilizing them? I would love to be able to watch angels raise their own young.
I had a pair who worked together beautifully guarding the eggs, and I thought they were a perfect male-female pair. I found out I actually had two females when the second female starting laying eggs, too. When she did, her previously devoted partner became so aggressive toward her that I had to give her away to save her life.
I have heard it often takes a couple of tries before angels get the hang of being good parents. Good luck!
