Cleaning and leak testing two used 20g tanks. 30% water change on my running 20g long. Cleaned a small amount of algea off the tank walls and some leaves.

About to wash some river sand and a bag of stones for one of the new 20g.

Well. First of all, my family got some live clams for dinner. So I thought I'd see if one would live in an aquarium environment. Haha. They're called cherry stones, or something like that. In aquaria, we call them cleaner clams. So it's acclimating nicely. I burped it, and it's now beginning to open.

Also, my land/water tank is coming along great. The whole land part is carpeted with different mosses. The water hasn't cleared up yet. I tested it though, and there's 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 25 nitrates. I did a water change and got that down to 5. Them I added two white clouds and the frog. The white clouds are happy and so is the frog. I'll get more white clouds later. At least a school of five. So here it is. The water is cloudy from the sand. I'll have to revamp filtration. water changes only cloud it more!

Apart from three out of four water changes, made a bunch of water for tomorrow, tidied up a bit, and about five minutes ago I pulled my little figure 8 puffer dead from his home!

Tomorrow I'm planning on getting 5 harlequin rasboras to start to tank off again and to keep the bristle nose pleco and three rainbow fish company!

I have three rainbow fish from Lfs don't know what kind they are and a bristle nose pleco planning on 5 harlequin rasboras 5 rummy nose tetras 3 or 4 kuhli loach and 2 geophagus surinamensis

Well that clown goby i got has come down with an unidentified disease . I sill be moving him into a 10g QT i will be seting up ether tommarow or on wednesday. Hope he makes it

Feeding all my tanks and noticed this little guy poke his head out!



My friend gave me a L002 pleco nearly 3 months ago and we haven't seen it since. Assumed the worst for the poor little guy. I'm very impressed he's gone this long without being noticed.

Changed from 20g aqueon quiet flow HOB to 50g aqueon quiet flow hob on the 20g, the new filter had way tom much flow so i put a rock up in front of the return and took out one of my power heads. Tanks really cloudy ATM.

Saltwater. It's a cherry stone clam from the supermarket haha. It was almost dinner! It's around 20c for one. In aquariums it's called a cleaner clam, sold for $15! Apparently they reduce nitrates.
