White squirmy things in tank

I just pulled my 1 year old tiger oscar out of the clutches of HITH, right now he is recovering from the holes. Now, since god likes to torchure me, theres little white worm things that are floating around in the water. They're probably no more than 1/4 of an inch long. What is it???

Sounds like Planaria, it's harmless but just vaccum more and feed less and they'll be gone in no time.

are they on the tank wall and look very flat and move slowly, or are they thin worms which whip around wildly in the water and seem to do so from one end? Does stirring up the gravel release a lot more of these swimmers and do they have just a slight pinkish cast?

Skip feeding for three days, do 30% water changes each day, and they will disappear.
