Well I was going to post a layout idea but I'm out of space and the photobucket link is not correct.

They look splendid! I wouldn't put myrio and walichi right next to each other, rest looks great!

Would swapping the positions of the star grass and r. wallichii help?

Personally I'd only do one very fine leaf plant per tank unless it was 55g and up. I'd be happy to send some ludwiga sp. Red or rotala rotundifolia to get a more full bodied stem in there.

The reason for all the fine leaf plants is that they are the preferred spawning media other than ugly spawning mops

Congrats, going to be some really good looking fish!

After I got my furcata I wondered how I missed rainbowfish all these years

I do think the idea to switch the wallichii with the stargrass is a pretty good idea, I was just throwing the idea on paper when I put 2 needle leaved plants side by side.

So plants will be ordered this weekend for a scape start next week, hopefully I boiled and soaked enough of the tannins out of the wood so that it doesn’t break up the light too much, I really don't want to filter with carbon.

Well I'm trying not to add anything more to my filter and I prefer to be the mechanical filtration for my tanks.
