Adding more GBR

Currently stocked with 3 GBR (F), I just purchased 5 more from a great breeder, random sex, I have noticed my current rams have territories.

When I go to add the new ones should I rearrange the tank?
I have some caves, should I buy Cichlid rocks? or am i just wasting my money?
Should each fish have its own cave?
Or am i just over thinking things?

Re-arrange the tank and have the lights off. Right after you re-arrange add them in. Leave lights off for the night.

It depends how many there already is. Maybe some plants would help out? (fake of course)

I have both fake and real right now, have 8 in total.
And about 7 caves

If they pair up will they share a cave?

No idea, but most cichilid are aggressive. My convicts wouldn't share a cave and were a pair.

A german blue ram pair will share a cave until breeding time im pretty sure

Rams don't use caves, they will claim a territory and spawn usually on a flat surface. They will both raise and care for the young.
