Blood red parrot cichlid wont eat!

He won't eat and stays by rock cave thing a lot! New fish though been like this for a day. No ones really bothering him. Trued to feed him a lot. Got pics if needed.

Give him a few days to settle in, try frozen blood worms or frozen mysis shrimp, he'll eat when he's hungry and confortable in your tank.

He's new to the tank. Don't worry about it.


Actually, you should probably stop even messing with him and stop introducing food to the tank if he's not eating it. Give him a couple days to relax.

I always turn the light off in my tank for the first day they are in. For my Jack Dempsey I actually covered the tank for 24hrs with a blanket so she was in total darkness.
