Brilliant Jewel Chiclid

Hello, i recently went to the petstore and bought my Brilliant Jewel Chiclid. I couldnt find any information on it, so i was wondering if anyone new. All i know so far is that he is very agressive and territorial.

Not a jewel cichlid, actually known as a kribensis, or pelvicachromis pulcher

It happens, that why you'll see some of us on here using the scientific names almost exclusively, as it alleviates some of the confusion that common names can create. It's a female btw

What are the tank mates and tank size?

30 gallon and 2 jack dempseys a litte smaller

Jacks will more than likely destroy a krib once they start to reach maturity, especially in a tank as small as 30 gallons
