The genes are recessive. So gold ands and electric blue breed with the same color morph will create that morph again similarly to the albino gene

Bigger is always better, I use a 2.5 as an egg and small fry tank then a larger tank once they are juries

I feed all my fish sinking NLS pellets. While very rarely giving them baby brine shrimp.

Omega One is fine. NLS is very good. IMO there are others that are just as good, like Xtreme, but they are not as easy to find as NLS. There's a guy by the name of Lohachata on Aquabid that sells his own food. It's great stuff and much cheaper than NLS or Xtreme (or most other foods you'll see in pet stores).
