To what size have you kept one and what age?
I started with 5 and I am down to 1 which is about 3.85" and 14 months old. He looks very aged and ready to go.

I have a male ebjd and he's around 3 years old or so. He's probably around 7 or 8". He was the only one I've had, got him around 2" or so.

4 months and 3". They were 2" when I got them. Hopefully my new ones will grow large and old together.

Okay here's a few.

This is when I got him.

I purchased 3 about 9 months ago at an inch. Got the 2 females up to 4 inches and male up to 5 inches. Just recently sold them back to my LFS though. I've heard people have trouble with keeping them alive at such a young age, which made me nervous when I purchased them, but thankfully I didn't have such problems. My male looked a lot like your male. Nice looking EBJD
