Favorite fish for a 40 breeder?

I picked up a 40 breeder at the Petco sale, and would LOVE to have a nice cichlid tank. I am in no hurry at the moment (nor do I have a clue where to put the thing yet) so I have plenty of time to research and be picky about stocking.

What is your favorite cichlid that would be good in a 40B? I thought about doing a mbuna tank, but am DEFINITELY open to other suggestions. I know I want more than one species, so they will have to be compatible.

Convict cichlids, easy to care for easy to breed and fast multiplying. Defiantly your best bet for beginner cichlid breeding and not a huge fish like most cichlids.
