Feeder fish for peacocks or brichardi ?

Currently have tanks with peacocks and brichardi (princess cichlids )

And also have a tank from my sister which is full of 5 adult platys with about 4 generations of fry , with the most recent lot being born today ( all fish and water are healthy )

Would it be ok to use them for feeder fish for either of the brichardis or peacocks ?

What would the benefits or disadvantages be of doing this ??

Advantages.. Your getting rid of fry that are usually hard to get rid of. Disadvantages... feeder fish aren't very nutritious but it's only occasionally so that's not really that bad.

Yeah this is good advise. I always plump them up first with good food
