Fry survival

What are the chances that any fry will survive in my african cichlid tank without removing them?

I've had my mbuna tank for 6 months and I've had four fry make it to a safe size that they swim openly with others

The more small nooks and crannys you have the more will survive. For the most part they become a snack for the other fish.

Depends on your set up. I have had a Fire mouth fry pop up out of no where in my aggressive SA/CA cichlid tank. The past few months he is been hanging out near some dense plants. he is about 6 months old and two weeks ago he started to wander out during feeding. Last night I saw him chilling in open water.
