Mixing Malawi mbuna and lake victoria

Would it be okay to mix some of the more peaceful and mild tempered mbuna with 1 or 2 species of mild tempered lake victoria cichlids

Ive read some stuff online and it says u can mix mbunas and lake victorians

U can try but mbunas are mean little guys all the ones I've had got nasty towards everything when they got big.

Ive gottom more of the peacful /mild tempered mbunas such as yellow labs fish like that and the lake victoria cichlids all get about the same size as the mbunas ill have and ill have all male tank and there will be plenty of hiding spots for all them to also minimize aggression.
