I love lake Victoria cichlids. They are by far the most beautiful cichlids I've seen....I have a flame back, red flank, and sp. 44 and I love the color they display when trying to mate. I sit and watch all my fish mate it's quite interesting I have videos and all.

How is it going with all three of your males in the same tank?

Ok so far, they are about 6 months old. There are 12 females in there too. Will move if need be, Fingers crossed they will be ok. Males are beautiful they set off the drab females.

You didn't say anything about females earlier so that's why I asked, but 12 females should do the trick! Lol

Ya I have a tank just for my Vics. Males are colorful, so I posted them

Lol no fry yet. My LFS that I do stuff with is looking forward to them. No one in this area has them

So I put a male and 5 females in my 6 foot tank and caught them doing the baba dance a few hours later!! I got one lobe fry in the tank so I GUESS its safe to say they are breeding earlier than I calculated!! I was reading 8 months and they are 6...
