just noticed that the female is holding egs and not eating, great stuff,but here is the question should I catch her and transfer her to a smaller tank because the male is chasing her

Yes you can catch her and put her in her own tank. Just watch the parameters and she should be fine.

you might find she will defend herself really well anyway and it could turn out that she will be the one chasing soon.
I would seperate her in a couple weeks anyway, if you can, to help with keeping the fry safe.
