Purchased a 120 gallon on Craigslist. Have a fx5 and Eheim 2215 as filters. I stocked it with all small fish. It currently has 7 frontosa, 6 lelupi, 4 calvus, 4 juli reggani, and 5 clown loaches. As time passes, I plan on having an all Frontosa set up (with larger tank) and rehoming the others. I have a few questions.
1. How long before the frontosas 1.5" start munching on the others. I've been told I have a good year and a half before any rehoming will be necessary. Does this sound right??
2. Can any of these other fish stay permanently?
3. I've also researched about thinning out the Frontosa as they get older to 1-2m/ 2-5f. If I'm not interested in breeding them, is it ok to have equal amount male to female ratio(not thinning them out)??
