Ordering Cichlids Online: Opinions

My Local fish dealer has a limited selection of cichlids....mainly because it is Petco. What do you guys think about ordering online. Thanks

Go for it
I reccomend aquabid or liveaquaria
Be sure to get the right type of cichlids for your tank and be sure the tank is large enough

And results seem pretty good

2nd on aquabid. I've had a lot of luck with all sorts of fish for the past few years. Only 2 DOAs so far. Just make sure you purchase from reputable listers and find ones with DOA warranties. I've even gotten fish from Thailand through the site.

Another good one is called The Wet Spot. It's in Portland, but they ship very reasonably.

I ordered almost all mine from Buy Freshwater African Cichlids at Live Fish Direct: Freshwater Aquarium Fish Breeder they were all healthy when received and still alive today.
