I have two established peacock cichlid community tanks. Recently one of the tanks had a dispute between two males fighting for dominance in the tank. This caused the tank to be separated in half and all the other cichlids were hiding stressed. I decided to pretty much remodel the tank to destory they're territories and cause confusion for the two alphas.

I removed them from the tank while I moved things and placed them in a bucket. Moving took longer than I anticipated and while I did that one of the males hurt the other. I have placed him in a medic tank with melafix, pimafix, and life guard. His swim bladder is injured since her cant sit up right so I gave him a structure to rest upright on. His breathing seems stable and not intense right now, so I think he is less stressed. If there is any help or advice anyone has I'll be grateful, I really want him to pull through.

Sorry bout the pictures, I'm not sure how to flip them and my lens is cracked.

Yeah my camera is cracked, so the water looks foggy. It's cycled water and looks clear.

Here are some photos from my brother's phone.

He had fin and scale damage. Pretty sure his swim bladder was injured since he couldn't swim upright. He passed away later that night. Thanks for trying though, I just underestimated the aggressiveness of my other male.
