seeding tank for discus.

Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this? Do you think it might introduce unwanted organisms that would harm the discus. The donor filter I would be using is from a South American Ciclid tank.

The chance of risk is always there. Are the Cichlids healthy? What type of filter are you using? Make sure the pH in your discus tank is about the same as the SA cichlids.
