Starting a new tank!

I'm starting a. 150 gallon fish tank, I have an established 75 gallon with about 24 lake malawi cichlids at a good size. Currently I have 6 giant danios in the 150 gallon cycling it now but when it is done cycling i would like to keep them with the cichlids. Is this a good idea? If so I would buy more. THX.

Depending on the type of cichlids you choose, I think they may do ok. They're quick, mobile, and fairly aggressive eaters. I would try them for a few weeks with your cichlids before buying more though, so you can monitor them.
