I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 red severums and 2 heckilli and was wondering if I could put my tetras with them??

If your Heckelii are full grown 8" to 10" they might snack on the neons if they can catch them.

I definitely wouldn't keep neons or black neons with them. Lemon, red eye, buenos aires, bleeding heart, etc. should be ok. There are never any guarantees.

Those are both good ideas. Emps and Congo are both robust, tough fish that should grow too large to be eaten.
