will my cichlids starve in a week

Im going on a seven day vacation at the end of the month. I do not have automatic feeders and Id like yo do without if I can because frankly they're expensive. So i was wondering if my fish would be okay with out food for a week. I have a 55 gallon tank with about 15/20 African cichlids and I have a 10 gallon tank with 5 commet goldfish ive had for a couple years now.

Do large water changes before you leave and they'll be fine.

Vacation feeders??? Just drop em in the tank and the fish will eat it. They are cheap too

Yes both tanks, feed them heavy 2 days before you leave then the day before you leave preform a 50% + water change. Leave the lights off while you're gone and they will be perfectly fine, I've done that many times. Also don't mess with the feeder blocks they tend to foul the water.
