Nice looking montis! My mid trick is quite the quick grower. Hopefully yours will be too! It is beautiful when it gets big

Came home from work tonight to see my monti like this
http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/...pscgl662pn.jpg
I'm guessing I turned my lights up too high and now that I put it on the top rocks it was too strong. It was probably like this all day I just turned my lights down to about half of what it was on. Did I kill my monti?

Well it's not white or brown, but a part of my Jedi mind trick is turning purple. A part that used to be green :/

Khuligirl's 20 long nano reef build

Thanks guys
I have my lights turned down to 30 on blues and 20 on whites to start reacclimating them and try to get them happy again, but the monti still has all its polyps pulled in, and my acan looks funny. The best way I can describe it is that it looks "deflated".

Edit: everything is starting to perk back up

I like your tank. I wish I hadn't got my clowns. They are so aggressive I'm afraid to get any blennies or goby's.

Thank you! Maybe you could return them or trade them in for other fish? I made the decision to not get clowns for that very reason :/ I'm keeping my tank a goby/blenny tank.

Could it be that I'm already getting coraline even though my tank isn't even 2 months old yet??

http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/...pse1nbvwoy.jpg
Why does my monti pull all its polyps in when I turn on the light? maybe I need a ramp timer..

Just for fun

Got some new buddies for my tank
http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/...psvi7sttya.jpg
Thought my CUC could use some bulking up so I've got here 3 tiny blue leg hermits, 1 scarlet hermit, 1 margarita snail, 2 bumble bee snails, and 1 emerald crab.

And this guy
http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/...pszf4ccrnn.jpg

Just kidding we got him in at work today and have him in like a 300 gallon display.

Watch the margarita snails. They don't do too well in reef tanks.

Actually I think I grabbed an Astraea with a more rounded shell tip instead of a margarita... Maybe it was for the best! Haha
