Yep, unfortunately 4g is too small for a Clown. You could all all sorts of corals and shrimp. You could even add a Clown Goby!

Well I am going to start talking my wife into a larger tank what minimum size is recommended for him also I have pellets to feed him how much how often sorry total newb here

A 10 gallon would be the absolute minimum for one clownfish. If you want a pair, it's best to get a 20 gallon. It's definitely better to go bigger though; they are more forgiving with user errors.
I feed twice a day, no more than the fish eats within a few minutes.
