how long do these things live...the one i have can be seen in my photo gallery...just curious...thanx. oh and btw what kind is this one(if you happen to look)
Looks like a condylactus or commonly known as a condy. They say they can live for years and years in the wild but in captivity it is severely shortened. It all depends on your water parameters and lighting.
In the wild they can, in theory, live forever. They don't age, in a normal sense, like most animals! The only way they die in the wild is by predation or water quality issues for the most part. Good luck w/ yours, as you may know they are a bit delicate, and require a well established and stable tank.
