Bristle worm

Moving some rock around today to add my new LR, I cam across a bristle worm that was over four inches long. This thing was pretty big. How big do they get? At this size, are they harmful to any of my corals? Thanks...Lando

I've seen them over a foot long! IMO they are not harmful despite the monster size they can reach
