buffering ro/di topoff water

do u guys buffer ur ro/di topoff water? if so, to what kh? my test kit have a fresh water gh and a salt water kh, which one should i use for my topoff? TIA.

I dont buffer mine. Weekly PWC`s take care of the buffering.

If your dKH falls within standard parameters after you add salt and mix for 24+ hours preferably with a ph then it's not necessary.

I have to buffer mine very slightly (half a teaspoon to 15 gal) sometime using ro/di because my alk ranges between 6-8 dKH with the salt I use and I like it closer to 10. I only use SeaChem Marine Buffer to increase it and I add buffer about once every 2-3 water changes.
