I have a candy cane coral that just went into my tank a few days ago. So far it looks pretty good, but I want to know where would be the best place to put it in the tank. I have a 72G with 4X65W PC lighting. I know this is a little low for some corals, but was told the candy cane would be fine. Should it be placed up higher in the tank to get more light? Thanks

I have a some Candy Cane planted on the sand in an area with moderate flow and indirect lighting. Just had it for a week but it's doing great

El Daiblo, you have a lot more lighting than I do. Do you think I should get mine closer to the surface?

You can attach it up higher, give it a try and watch it.
if it doesnt look happy try another spot.

i have two frags of candy cane. one is up high in moderate flow. the other is a mid level with moderate flow. both seem happy

Trip, you have close to same amount of light as me. I keep mine about 12" below the light. It has definitely grown and seems to be happy. Flow is medium also.
