I'm looking for info on eggs laid by a Clarkii clown. I bought a pair of Clarkii's and a carpet anemone they were with and in less than a week she has laid eggs!
What I'm wondering is the length of time till they hatch? She laid them on Sept. 16th. I don't expect any of them to survive but I'm curious how long it takes.
Also, how often should I expect this pair to lay eggs.
Thanks....M

Welcome to AquariumAdvice.com :)

The clowns will typically lay the eggs every 4 weeks and in most cases the same day of the week each month. Once they lay the eggs, it usually takes between 7-10 days for them to hatch (closer to 8 days usually). Hatching will occur after lights out.

Cheers
Steve
